Basic Life Support Instructor cards are available to individuals who have successfully completed the cognitive and skill evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) Program and have been monitored by a current faculty member of the AHA Training Center.

The BLS Provider Course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-and out-of hospital settings.
