CERTIFICATIONS: American Red Cross (ARC) Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification

PREREQUISITE: Participants must first complete the online portion of this course (which may take up to 3 hours) before attending the in-person class.

AGES: 13 and up

Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification not expired longer than 30 days.

Recertification will include Lifeguarding Skills as well as CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid 2-Year Certification

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE: Anyone who already has their State-Specific Boating Safety Certification and is looking to learn to operate a powerboat safely and improve on-the-water boat handling skills in an on-the-water, hands-on driving course.

PREREQUISITE: None

SKILL LEVEL: All levels

AGES: 10 years and up

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE: Anyone who is looking to learn to operate a powerboat safely and improve on-the-water boat-handling skills in an on-the-water, hands-on driving and classroom course.

CERTIFICATIONS: US Powerboating Safe Powerboat Handling Certification & NY State and NASBLA-approved equivalent to NY State Boating Safety Certification

PREREQUISITE: None

SKILL LEVEL: All levels

AGES: 10 & up

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE: Anyone looking to work as a launch driver & earn their certification in a hands-on driving course

CERTIFICATIONS: Maritime College Launch Tender license & US Powerboating Safe Powerboat Handling Cert.

PREREQUISITE: None prior to taking the course; you must meet requirements for USCG license application

SKILL LEVEL: All levels

AGES: 17 to attend, 18 to apply for the license

The US Sailing Small Boat Level 1 Instructor Course is designed to provide sailing instructors with information on how to teach more safely, effectively, and creatively.
