Scuba Club Membership Fall 2024

The NSU Scuba Club format consists of Semester-long membership:

$95 includes the following:

• Free rental scuba equipment for all club dives • Free Scuba Refresher at the beginning of each semester • Free supervised beach dives • Deeply discounted supervised boat dives • Dive trips are approximately every other week per semester, or approximately 7-8 dive trips per semester

By joining the NSU Scuba Club you are agreeing that you have read and agree to all terms and conditions set forth in the most current NSU Scuba Club Policies and Procedures Manual.

When registering for the Club please have the following ready: 1. You will need your highest-level scuba certification card (or information from it). This includes your highest certification level and agency you were certified with. 2. You will need your DAN Diving Accident Insurance card (or information from it). If you do not have your DAN Diving Accident Insurance at the Master Level or higher you may get it here http://dan.org/partner/2303220

. You will need to submit the DAN policy number and the date of insurance. 3. You will need to submit what gear you might need including the sizes. If you do not know, we can always fit you later, but please give your best guess. 4. Your N# 5. Date of your last scuba dive

NOTE:

• After registering you will receive information on how to submit your club paperwork. You will need to have a current Medical Form and other paperwork completed before any diving.
• You may register for the free Scuba Refresher once you have confirmation that you are in the club.  The Scuba Refresher is MANDATORY if you have not been diving in over 6 months.  It is also MANDATORY if you have never taken a scuba class with the NSU Academic Diving Program.
• If you have your own BCD and Regulator, you will need to show proof that it has been professionally serviced by a dive center within one year OR that it has been purchased new within one year.
• Finally, please note that every dive trip is first come first served.  Our dive trips have limits on how many divers can go on them.  Trip registrations will come out the week of the trip.  If you wait to register for trip you might not be able to get on.  There are no refunds for the Club even if you never dive the entire semester.
