Beach Dive Clean-Up at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park Fort Lauderdale Beach 03/16/24

Beach Clean-Up Dive at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park Fort Lauderdale Beach with NSU All Fins In Service Project

Saturday March 16, 2024

Trip Description

This is a one-tank beach dive at a local favorite dive site. Hugh Taylor State Park has a great access to Florida’s gorgeous First Reef system! This is a beach clean-up dive contributing to the All Fins In – The Ultimate Service Project! You will be engaging in a coastal cleanup which will provide an opportunity for more marine life, such as sea turtles, to be less impacted by trash on our beaches.

Due to spring break, even in the shallow sand areas, there are so many items to find.  Not only trash but items of value as well.

NOTE: Due to heavy boat traffic in the area, dive flags are required for each dive group, and divers MUST stay with their dive flag.
