All Professional Education Program Workshops

The Professional Education Program (PEP) offers high quality continuing education for social workers. Our CE granting workshops cover a wide range of topic areas, including Clinical, Cultural and Social Competence, Ethics, and Clinical Supervision. For workshops that are held on our beautiful campus, parking is free, and lunch is provided at full day events.

All continuing education hours (CEs) are provided by the Monmouth University School of Social Work in accordance with New Jersey Administrative Code 13:44G and are recognized by the New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners.

At this training participants will learn the basics of equine behavior, its benefits in the therapeutic setting, various intervention techniques, how to refer clients, and what further training is needed to do this type of work.

  • 3 Clinical CEs -  A comprehensive overview of eating disorders, including diagnostic criteria, case examples, and lesser-known presentations.   • Interested in supervising colleagues on the path to their LCSW? This workshop has been approved by the NJ Board of Social Work Examiners as satisfying the 20 hours of post-graduate course work necessary to becoming a clinical supervisor. You must be present for each day of the workshop to receive credit. This workshop is in person and lunch is included.
