Recommended for those with some basic ECG exposure, participants will review basic cardiac electrophysiology and learn how to correctly interpret a 12 lead ECG by using “hands-on” instructional methods. A focus will be on the evaluation and identification of findings that can be obtained through a systematic review of this commonly ordered diagnostic test.
Desired Outcomes –Participants will interpret/differentiate EKG patterns at the conclusion of the workshop and will apply the concepts learned to analyze and interpret 12 lead ECGs. Practitioners will learn skills and techniques in ECG interpretation and will apply them to practice in the clinical setting.
Successful Completion: Participants will attend 95% of the program, and complete an online evaluation to receive contact hours. There are no financial relationships with ineligible companies for those involved with the ability to control the content of this activity. There is no commercial support for this activity.
