Backyard birds bring joy, color, and life to our communities. But did you know there is a lot you can do to help them thrive?
Join WSU Extension Forestry and a guest speaker from the Washington Department of Natural Resources for a fun, hands-on class all about our native birds. You will learn which birds call King County home, what they need to survive and flourish, and simple steps you can take to support them in your own yard or neighborhood.
Then roll up your sleeves and build your very own wooden birdhouse to take home.
All supplies provided, and no experience necessary. Whether you are a lifelong bird lover or just curious, this class is for you.
This is part of our Connect with Extension series, designed to bring our community together around practical, hands-on skills while creating opportunities for meaningful connection. You will have time to meet other participants and share ideas, and you may even find a new birding buddy. Also a great way to learn more about WSU King County Extension Program offerings.
