Youth Swim Classes

Welcome to Maritime College's youth swimming program!!

Swim lessons teach kids an important life skill. Maritime College offers both private and group swim lessons to youth of all ages.  Classes are taught in Riesenberg Gym Pool, where participants will also have access to the locker rooms after class. Please reach out to cprograms@sunymaritime.edu for more information regarding swim lessons or requests of semi-private lessons.

Semi-Private Lessons will be available at registration checkout. You will have to option of making the lesson a semi-private by filling in the name of who will be joining. LEAVE PROMPT BLANK IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO MAKE IT A SEMI-PRIVATE

 

  • Junior Swim Prep Clinic
    Junior Swim Prep Clinic

    Once a week swim clinics focusing on a different stroke each clinic. Must know how to swim prior to class.

    Junior 1 (8-12 years of age) 3:30pm-4:20pm
    Junior 2 (13-17 years of age): 4:30pm-5:20pm

  • Parent and Child Aquatics: Guppies
    Parent and Child Aquatics: Guppies

    6 months - 3 years old

    Join us for fun activities that teach infants to feel comfortable in the water.  Parent/guardian are required to be in the water with child.

    Mondays from 8:30am-9:00am 
    (July 7-August 4, 2025)

    Wednesdays from 8:30am-9:00am

    Private swimming lessons for all ages and abilities! (Minimum age is 4 years old)

    There is an option to make your lessons a semi-private, please leave it BLANK if you do not want a semi-private. You must list other swimmer/s to be granted the semi-private rate.
