ALDOT Roadway Technician Level 1 Course (FY 26-27)

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 months work experience in current classification to register for this course.

This is a one-and-a-half-day classroom course that gives entry-level technicians a basic understanding of asphalt paving projects with limited coverage of specifications, calculations, and best practices for quality pavements.

This course is a prerequisite for the Roadway Technician Level 2 and Asphalt Technician Level 1 course.
