The 2025 Annual Meeting of the Mississippi Philological Association will be held at the University of Mississippi on Friday, February 28 and Saturday March 1. The 2025 annual meeting is organized around the theme of legacies and futures with a special emphasis on southern writing. All panels and keynote addresses will be held in the Gertrude Ford Ballroom at the Inn at Ole Miss. Attendees will also be invited to participate in an historical tour of campus that explores the role of enslaved people in the history of the university. The annual meeting brings together scholars of literature and modern languages as well as creative writers from around Mississippi and the broader midsouth who share a “love of words.” Panels begin at 11:30 am Friday and conclude at 5:00 pm Saturday.
