Exception Codes : Terms Matching Error in PayPath

The most common cause of this error is that the terms within PayPath are not set up correctly.

  • All terms used in the student application must be added in PayPath.
  • Terms set up in TouchNet Commerce applications must match the terms set up in PayPath.

For example, if your students are linking over to PayPath from the TouchNet Bill+Payment Suite, it could be that the terms set up in Bill+Payment Operations Center Term Management do not match terms in PayPathView Term Management.

  • If you add a new term on the ERP, remember to log into PayPathView and modify the terms there as well.
  • If you are not sure how to use PayPathView or do not remember your login information, please contact Customer Care.

If problems persist after you modify or confirm the terms within PayPathView, contact your Customer Care Specialist. We will need to know what terms you have set up in your student application and in PayPathView. If you can also provide the student ID of someone who has received this error, it will help us gather the correct information to troubleshoot the problem.
