This course offers a comprehensive guide to the creative process of designing residential spaces. You will explore every stage of interior design, from foundational drafting and creating floor plans and elevations to mastering the concepts that shape a space’s distinctive character. By the end, you will complete your own residential design project, applying key elements such as color schemes, furniture selection, materials and accessories to bring your chosen mood to life.
Students aged 12 - 16 years
All the boot camp participants will receive a certificate of participation from The American University in Cairo.
The AUC Bus Service is available for an extra fee. Details on the schedule will be shared before the program's start date.
Accommodation is offered at the University Residences in case needed.
Nesma Fadda is an architect and interior designer with over 15 years of experience. Currently, she leverages her expertise as an adjunct assistant professor at both The American University in Cairo (AUC) and the German International University (GIU), specializing in architecture and interior design. At AUC, she also holds the position of assistant coordinator for the interior design professional diploma program. Demonstrating her commitment to the field, Fadda has spearheaded the Interior Design Bootcamp since 2022. Refund Policy
A 100% refund of the program fees will be granted if the request is submitted at least two weeks before the course start date, or if the request is due to one of the following reasons:
A 75% refund will be granted if the request is submitted within the last two weeks before the course start date.
No refund will be issued if the request is submitted after the end of the last working day (4 pm) and before classes begin, including the weekend prior to the course start date, or after the course has begun.
