Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund

Support for Jamaica and Our Caribbean Neighbours
The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, is inviting members of the public to contribute to the Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund as part of the regional One Love Jamaica Mediathon initiative.  Your monetary donation will help provide essential supplies and immediate support to the people of Jamaica and those in other Caribbean islands severly affected by the passage of Hurricane Melissa.

This fundraising drive forms part of a wider regional response to assist Jamaica as communities rebuild and essential services are restored.  All contributions will be directed through the Barbados Red Cross to support humanitarian relief efforts and critical recovery needs identified on the ground.  The One Love Jamaica Mediathon serves as a unifying regional effort to channel support and solidarity during this challenging time.

Every contribution, large or small, will make a meaningful difference as families and communities begin the difficult road to recovery.

Donations are accepted in Barbadian dollars (BBD)
Exchange rate: USD $1 = BBD $2.
