"Can Emporia" is the annual food drive competition between Washburn and Emporia State University. This year, Washburn will be hosting the football game against ESU on November 8th.  All donations are given to local food pantries, including Washburn's Bods Feeding Bods!  Donations will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on November 3rd.

This year, WSGA is also hosting an on-campus competition as part of WU Homecoming, allowing campus groups and organizations to have a friendly competition amongst each other.  To donate on behalf of your organization, please list your campus group in the notes section upon payment.  Homecoming donations will be accepted through October 21st.  Any donations made after 10/21/25, or without a campus group listed, will be added directly to the Can Emporia total.
