By combining the complimentary skill sets of Lean and Six Sigma, this Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course, provides a solid foundation for becoming a skilled practitioner of process improvement capable of reducing waste, increasing value and designing "better, cheaper, faster" ways to get things done!

In this 24 hour course, participants will:

- Learn to see business value and identify waste from a system and process perspective.
- Review how a Lean transformation is executed, including how to lead cultural change.
- Be able to identify and dissect value streams, management systems, and support processes.
- Examine the phases and tools of the standard Six Sigma project lifecycle, DMAIC.
- Explore the application of qualitative and quantitative tools to system design, process improvement, and problem solving.
- Develop the requisite knowledge to becoming a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

This course is taught on-line, an end-of-course exam is issued, and participants will receive a certificate from TMAC Paso del Norte at UTEP.
