College of Science & Engineering Challenge Exam

Course-specific credit may be awarded to students who successfully complete a departmentally developed challenge exam. Each challenge exam will incur a fee of $50.00 per credit hour to administer and assess the examination. The fee is non-refundable even if the student fails to qualify for credit. A student may only attempt a specific departmental challenge exam twice. Initiate the payment process only after receiving approval to complete a challenge exam and acknowledging the terms and policies on the Departmental Challenge Exam form. You will need to know the subject, course number, course title, department, and credit hours for the course for which you are testing. After checking out, you will receive an e-receipt. You must provide a copy of the receipt to the person administering the challenge exam.
