The 2026 It's All Relative Ole Miss Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) Family Business Symposium is going to take place exclusively in person, September 15-16, 2026 at Sheraton Flowood. The Ole Miss CIE Family Business Symposium aspires to be an open forum where leaders, family members, and employees from family businesses from a variety of industries can share their concerns and questions in order to learn best practices from knowledge leaders, enabling them to grow and to continue their businesses across generations.
The Legacy Leadership Program is committed to creating a trusted, non-transactional environment where family business leaders can engage in candid conversations about the opportunities and challenges unique to family enterprise.
To preserve this peer-learning experience, general registration for the It’s All Relative Family Business Symposium is reserved primarily for family business owners, senior executives (including non-family executives and board members), family trust directors, family council and family office leaders, and shareholders of family-owned businesses whose primary business is other than advising family-owned businesses.
Attendees are expected to respect the confidentiality of discussions and refrain from solicitation, prospecting, or client recruitment activities. Our goal is simple: create a space where family business leaders feel comfortable sharing real experiences, asking difficult questions, and learning from one another.
