Conscious Card Making

Location: Storm Shelter at the Jackson Ave. Center

Take time to connect with your creative side in this guided workshop on handmade greeting cards. Work together with the instructor and new frined to explore a variety of card-making tools and materials to design a unique card to share with someone special. Depending on level of complexity, you can expect to make 4 to 6 cards in this class. 

This class is a great opportunity to experiment with techniques like dry embossing and heat embossing, using special powders and tools to add beautiful texture and dimension to your creations. Come learn, create, and enjoy a mindful, creative experience.

Skills Introduced: Dry and heat embossing

Please note: Some hand strength and dexterity are required.  

Provided Supplies: All supplies are included!

Recommended Supplies (optional): If you have special paper or stickers or other embellishments you might want to add or use in creating your cards, you are welcome to bring them.

About Caelyn:

Caelyn, a counselor with the University of Mississippi, has been granted two Staff Creative Residencies for paper crafting. Through this university funding professional development opportunity, she have expanded and enhanced her crafting skills.
 
Online registration for this class will close at 4 pm on April 19. This class has a required minimum of 4 students. If the required minimum is not met, anyone registered will be informed and refunded.
