Creative Corner is an engaging art program designed for 6th-9th grade students, where they can unlock their artistic potential! Participants will dive into a variety of art projects, exploring new techniques and mediums while developing their personal style. This hands-on experience encourages self-expression and critical thinking, providing a space for young artists to experiment, create, and take their skills to the next level.

Specific details for Creative Corner are listed below:

  • This program is free, as all materials and supplies will be provided.

  • Participants must be accompanied to the Museum Front Desk by a responsible adult. After check-in, caring adults may choose to wait at the Museum or come back for pick-up. The caring adults will not accompany the student in the classroom for the program.

  • Participants must be dressed in clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.

  • Participants should arrive no earlier than 4:20pm and no later than 4:30pm. Participants must be picked up by 5:40 p.m.

  • Students must adhere to the rules and discipline policy set by the UM Museum.
