For critics of literature, culture, and the arts who pay attention to cultural production regarding gender and sexuality in Spanish and Portuguese, it is important to describe our moment, compare it to our histories, and imagine new ways of existing and living the body. Cultural works that inscribe body wars often reflect the need for resilience and collaboration and serve as a source of inspiration for individuals and groups to cooperate, support, recognize, and help each other.

The registration fee will increase after May 23, 2025 to $60 for Professor and $25 for Student, Retired Professor, Independent Scholar, Writer, and Artist.
