STEPS - 250 Years of American Invention and Innovation
In this one-day, in-person workshop, participants will engage with Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) materials to incoporate the history of American innovation and invention into STEM lessons, with an emphasis on Mississippi and local STEM histories. The workshop centers on
hands-on practice
using primary sources in instructional settings.
While prior experience with TPS is not required, participants who would like an introdcution to accessing and navigating these materials may find it helpful to complete the
introductory online course
before attending.
Lunch and CEU fees are included.
