Health Professionals in leadership roles need to combine clinical expertise with impactful leadership training that helps hone their leadership effectiveness skills to foster collaboration, cooperation and adaptation in their teams and their organization to manage a rapidly changing environment.
Taught by award-winning University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Carlos Alvarez College of Business faculty, this program is for UTHSA Long School of Medicine program directors, associate program directors and assistant program directors in leadership roles. The program combines lectures, readings, group discussions and presentations, with leadership assessments and a group couching experience to provide participants the opportunity to develop leadership and management skills in the ACGME core competencies of communication, professionalism and interpersonal skills.
