Program Details
This course introduces the agile approach to project management. Compared to a traditional/waterfall approach, Agile project sprints can begin before a full scope is complete. The Agile methodology is flexible, which can allow to more easily accommodate changes later in the project management process.
Participants will cover the basics of Agile including the agile mindset and principles, value-driven delivery, stakeholder engagement, empowered teams, adaptive planning, problem detection and resolution, and continuous improvement. This course will involve discussions throughout class sessions, provide a demonstration of agile principles,and present examples of Agile in action. Sessions are led by Aaron DeWispelare, Ph.D., P.E., PMP, ACP, a top facilitator with extensive experience in both the public and private sector.
