Book: The New Normal: A Semester Amid the Coronavirus at KU in 2020

This semester’s Journalism 410 Photojournalism class teamed up to create a book of photographs from KU and Lawrence community throughout this extraordinary semester. These pictures come from projects focused on student life, the pandemic and the election. We wanted to document this history, with each photograph telling a different story from this memorable year. We want future individuals to look at this book and learn from it just as we look at photographs from previous historical events. Our book project is entirely student led, by each member of the class taking on a different position in designing, planning, writing and editing the book. All proceeds from the book will benefit the scholarship funds for the William Allen White School.
