DAAP Workshop: Cyanotype w/ Katrina Shafor

In this short-term workshop, participants will be introduced to a photographic printmaking process: cyanotypes! This workshop welcomes all levels and printmaking experience. Using treated paper, participants will create their own stencils to expose images both in the sun and in the lab. Participants will become familiar with the application of cyanotype chemistry and image-making techniques to create unique pieces of original artwork under the support and instruction of DAAP MFA alum Katrina Shafor! 

Monday, Nov 11th & Friday, Nov 15th  3-5PM

  • Access to the DAAP Printmaking lab during open lab hours thoroughout the duration of the workshop.
  • All materials required for the workshop
What should I bring?
  • an apron (be prepared, art is a messy business!)

*To receive a refund you must notify colin.klimesh@uc.edu at least 1 week prior to class.  There will be no refunds for cancellations after that time or no-shows.  If the class does not reach required minimums for participation all registered users will be fully refunded.
