French Wine Masters Series

WBI’s Master Series offers an in-depth exploration of wine, beer, and spirits through expertly led sessions designed for industry professionals, students, and curious enthusiasts. Each semester, classes will offer a deep dive into focused beverage topics through expert instruction, guided tastings, and engaging discussions through which participants will gain a deeper understanding of style, production, terroir, and global context. Led by Craig Locascio, an Executive in Residence at the University of South Carolina’s School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, the series draws on his extensive expertise in wine, spirits, and beverage education, including industry certifications and professional training.

  • 8/24 – French Wine Foundations, Loire Valley and Alsace
  • 9/21 - Burgundy Deep Dive
  • 10/12 - Bordeaux and Southwest France
  • 11/2 - Rhône Valley, Champagne and Southern France

Cost: $100.00 for a single class ($85 for USC community) or $350 for all four classes
