England – Study Abroad 2026 – SPTE570

The Business of English Football is an immersive experience over Spring Break that includes facility visits, matches, cultural excursions, and so much more! Bookended by a full-semester SPTE570 course, this opportunity dives deeply into the history and community of the sport through the international eyes of England. 

Highlights:

• Tours with Fulham FC, AFC Wimbledon, Chelsea FC, Crystal Palace FC, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Brentford FC.
• Matches w/ AFC Wimbledon hosting Northampton Town, West Ham United hosting Manchester City, an FA Cup 5th Round Match TBD, and London City Lionesses hosting Arsenal Women.
• Touring of Co Op Live, a state-of-the-art live entertainment facility in Manchester, UK hosted by Oak View Group.
• A West End theatre district performance, play TBD.
• Area touring of Richmond, UK, home of the filming for the award-winning television show Ted Lasso.

*Please note that events listed here and on the final itinerary are subject to change based on business necessity.

Program Fees Include:

• All scheduled activities, which include a minimum of FOUR (4) English football matches and a minimum of EIGHT (8) immersive facility and organizational touring experiences.
• Hotels in both London and Manchester, UK (including a daily breakfast)
• Coach ground transportation, which includes:
  • From London Heathrow to unique experiences, then concluding at the hotel.
  • From London hotel to Birmingham, UK, including unique experiences, then concluding at the Manchester, UK hotel.
  • From Manchester hotel to unique experiences, concluding at the London hotel.
  • From London hotel to London Heathrow airport.

Program Fees Do Not Include:

• Transportation to/from airport, airfare to/from England
• Tuition for SPTE570
• USC global health insurance (~ $36)
• Trip Interruption insurance
• USC Education Abroad application fee (~ $225)
• Meals, site visits, and excursions not listed on final itinerary
• Passports, required vaccinations, and required medical treatment/testing/documentation
• Personal expenses and shopping

Price per student is $3,500.00 + tuition (separate) for SPTE570, USC global health insurance, and Education Abroad fee. Program fees are non-refundable.  If the program is cancelled by USC prior to departure, recoverable costs will be refunded.

This trip is limited to 20 participants and is expected to be filled quickly; reserve your space by submitting your first payment soon.

Reserve your space by 17-Nov-2025. Please complete your application with the Education Abroad Office prior to 12-Nov-2025. You must register and pay for SPTE570 no later than 01-Dec-2025.

2nd Program Fee payment of $1750.00 — due by 05-Dec-2025
