Tournament Operations: Spring 2026 – SPTE 590

3 Credit Hours – SPTE 590 

Learn about Tournament Operations in Golf and Tennis at several tournament locations in Charleston and Myrtle Beach, including attending the ONEFlight Myrtle Beach Classic golf tournament.  Tour Credit One Charleston Open, The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, and other sport and entertainment businesses.  Network with about a dozen industry professionals, including USC alumni.

Highlights:

• Engage with sponsors at the ONEFlight Myrtle Beach Classic.
• Learn about the fan experience at Credit One Charleston Open tennis.
• Learn about hosting championship golf tournaments at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, including the Ocean Course.
• Recognize risk management strategies for patron safety during a Charleston Riverdogs baseball game.
• Enjoy cultural sites and beach time in historic Charleston and in Myrtle Beach.
• Network with classmates and industry professionals, while broadening your professional network.

Program Fees Include:

• 6 nights Hotel
• Tournament tickets for two days to Myrtle Beach Classic golf tournament
• Van transportation from Columbia during the travel week
• Some meals
• Charleston Riverdogs baseball ticket

Program Fees Do Not Include:

• Summer Tuition for SPTE 590

Price per student is $950 + tuition (separate) for SPTE 590. Program fees are non-refundable. If the program is cancelled by USC prior to departure, recoverable costs will be refunded.

This trip is limited to 12 participants and is expected to be filled quickly; reserve your space by submitting your first payment soon.

Payment Deadlines:
1st Program Fee payment of $500 — due by Nov. 15, 2025
2nd Program Fee payment of $450 — due by Feb. 2, 2026

Program fees are not refundable.
