Community health workers (CHWs) play a crucial role in connecting individuals to healthcare resources. By sponsoring a seat in our training, you are helping to support a workforce that bridges the gap between healthcare providers and the communities they serve. CHWs improve health outcomes and create healthier communities by building trust between the community and health systems. Supplementing our direct training cost helps to alleviate financial burdens for our leaners. Additionally, your help allows us to expand professional development access for more CHWs, particularly those serving high-need areas in the state. Here's a quote from a previous scholarship recipient:
