When you attend the Computer Science Exploration Gaming camp you will learn the process of brainstorming, designing, developing, and testing games. Game design helps teach students systems thinking, which helps establish an understanding of how systems impact and work with one another, often within a larger system. Systems thinking is also the foundation for understanding subjects including science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We will focus on 2D and 3D game design. Students will get the chance to learn from industry professionals how to create and design their own game project. Students will work on software tutorials, participate in game design activities, and join guest lectures.

Students who attend should demonstrate skills in math and science, with an additional interest in STEM and computers.
*Letter of recommendation required for this camp.  This letter can come from a teacher, mentor, or IT professional.
