GLOBAL SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT IN JAPAN

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE
*Cultural sightseeing in Tokyo
*Visit the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame
*Attend a Tokyo area Nippon Professional (NPB) game
*Transportation between cities on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train)
*Kosiein museum visit
*Lectures on Japanese baseball and soccer
*Hanshin Tigers or Orix Buffaloes game
*Visit to Hiroshima Peace Park
*Hiroshima area J-League game
*Boat ride to Miyajima Island
*Venue tours
*Tokyo Big6 College baseball game
*Sumo basho
*Farewell dinner

*Please note that events listed here and on final itinerary are subject to change based on business necessity. 

Program Fees Include:
A dedicated, bilingual tour guide to lead the group through an itinerary curated specifically for USC SPTE students.
Accommodation at business-level hotels.
All in-tour land travel via train (including the shinkansen bullet train), starting and ending with airport transport in Japan.
Tickets and admission to all tour activities.
Daily Breakfast and at least three group meals.
A carbon offset purchased on behalf of each student equivalent to 1% of the tour cost. 

Program Fees Do Not Include:
Transportation and airfare to and from Tokyo
Tuition for SPTE 570
USC global health insurance(~ $30)
Trip Interruption insurance (required)
USC Education Abroad application fee (~$150)
Meals, site visits and excursions not listed on final itinerary.
Passports, required vaccinations, and required medical treatment/testing/documentation
Personal expenses and shopping

Price per student is $4,500 + tuition (separate) for SPTE 570, USC global health insurance and Education Abroad fee. Program fees are non-refundable. If the program is cancelled by USC prior to departure, recoverable costs will be refunded. 

This trip is limited to 20 participants and is expected to fill quickly; reserve your space by submitting your first payment soon. 

Payment Deadlines:
1st Program Fee payment of $2,250 - due by December 1, 2023

2nd Program Fee payment of $2,250 - due by February 1, 2024

Program fees are non refundable.
