Alumni Recreation Center Membership
As a USCB graduate, alumni are able to purchase a montly, semesterly, full academic year (fall and spring), summer, and/or yearly membership to utilize the USCB Recreation Center. To be eligible, individuals must have graduated from USCB.

Membership Options:

• Monthly Membership | $35 (effective one month from purchase date)
• Semesterly Membership| $105
  • Fall semester | August 20, 2024 - December 16, 2024
  • Spring semester | January 8, 2025 - May 1, 2025
• Fall and Spring Membership | $199 | August 20, 2024 - May 1, 2025
• Summer Membership | $50| May 1 - July 31, 2024
• Yearly Membership | $240 (one year from purchase date)

*Please note the Recreation Center is closed during certain holidays and breaks.

Membership Access:

• A purchased alumni membership allows member to use the facility during all open, operational hours
• Alumni members may use/participate in the following:
  • Fitness Center
  • Group fitness calsses
  • Basketball gym for pickup play
  • Alumni may not participate in intramurals or club sports

Alumni Membership Policies:
I understand that this membership is for my use only, and that the membership is non-transferrable and non-refundable. I agree to abide by all USCB facility policies,, and I understand that if I do not comply with said policies, that I may be asked to leave the facility and my membership may be revoked.

Waiver of liability and release:
In consideration of participating in the USCB Recreation Center fitness center and basketball gym, I in full recognition and appreciation of the dangers and risks inherent in such activities, do hereby covenant not to sue, and herby waive, release and forever discharge the University of South Carolina Beaufort and the University of South Carolina, its officers, agents and employees, from and against any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of action, for costs, expenses, or damages to personal property, or personal injury, or death, which may result from my participation in the aforesaid activities.
I acknowledge that my participation in the above-described activities is voluntary. I understand and acknowledge that the aforesaid activities may be hazardous, that my participation is solely at my own risk, and that I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any resulting loss of property, injuries or damages, including death. I further declare that I am physically fit and capable to participate in such activities. I acknowledge and represent that I am at least 18 years of age, that I have carefully read this document and that I sign freely and voluntarily.
I recognize that this waiver of liability and release means I am giving up, among other things, the rights to sue the University of South Carolina Beaufort and the University of South Carolina, its officers, agents, and employees for injuries, damages or losses I may incur as a result of my participation in aforementioned activities. I also understand that this waiver of liability and release binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives, attorneys-of-law, attorneys-in-fact, administrators and assigns, as well as myself. I further agree to indemnify the University of South Carolina Beaufort and the University of South Carolina harmless from any loss, liability, damage, or costs including court costs and attorney's fees incurred as a result of my participation in these activities. This waiver of liability and release shall be governed by and constituted under the laws of the State of South Carolina. 
I have read this entire waiver of liability and release; I fully understand it and agree to be legally bound by it. 

The University recommends that all participants undergo a physical examination from a medical professional prior to participation.
