SPTE 570: The Business of Soccer in England

Tour Dates: March 2 - 13, 2023

Tour Cost: $3,500 plus round-trip airfare to England, $150 education abroad program application fee, $30 UofSC global health insurance, tuition and applicable fees

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
• Attendance at a minimum of FOUR English league soccer matches
• Touring a minimum of SIX English soccer organizations and facilities
• Faculty guided tours of London and Manchester
• Attendance at a TBD performing arts show in the West End district of London
• Visiting the National Football Museum in Manchester
• Cross-Country transit experiences and cultural excursions

Program Fees Include:
• Hotel (ten nights, double occupancy)
• Buffet Breakfast daily
• In-country transportation
• Entrance to all venues, lectures, and tours listed on final itinerary

Program Fees Do Not Include:
• Tuition for SPTE 570
• UofSC global health insurance (~ $30)
• Trip Interruption insurance (required)
• UofSC Education Abroad application fee (~ $150)
• Meals, site visits and excursions not listed on final itinerary
• Passports, required vaccinations, and required medical treatment/testing/documentation
• Personal expenses and shopping

Price per student is $3,500 + tuition (separate) for SPTE 570, UofSC global health insurance and Education Abroad fee. Program fees are non-refundable. If the program is cancelled by UofSC prior to departure, recoverable costs will be refunded.

This trip is limited to 20 participants and is expected to fill quickly; reserve your space by submitting your first payment soon.

Please complete your application with the Education Abroad Office prior to Dec 1, 2022. You must register and pay for SPTE 570 – The Business of Soccer in England no later than Jan 8, 2023.

Payment Deadlines:

1st Program Fee payment of $1,750 — due by Nov 1, 2022

2nd Program Fee payment of $1,750 — due by Nov 23, 2022

Unless the program is cancelled by the university, program fees are non-refundable.
