Join us for a six-day, 3-credit hour immersion course exploring culture and entrepreneurship in Israel. Known as the “start-up nation”, this tiny country is the birthplace of some of the world’s most innovative businesses. Learn first-hand how Israel’s multi-cultural history and richly diverse traditions have influenced its fascinating story of growth and development. Led by Retailing and Hospitality faculty from the University of South Carolina, this unique program provides a life-changing opportunity as you broaden your academic, personal and cultural experience.

Trip Highlights:
• Private tour and e-commerce session at WiX World Headquarters
• Fashion walking tour of Tel Aviv’s designer district
• Tour and tasting at Amphorae Winery in Western Galilee
• Guided tour of Old Jerusalem, including the Western Wall and historic Machne Yehuda Market
• Visit to the Dead Sea
• Dinner at Eucalyptus Restaurant in Jerusalem’s artist district
• Entry to Yad Vashem, The World Holocaust Remembrance Center
• Group dinner at a chef’s private residence
• Seaside bicycle tour of Tel Aviv

Study Abroad Student Fees:
Tuition for RETL 592/HRTM 590, Mandatory insurance, Study Abroad Processing fee, plus $2,995 Program Fees

Program Fees Include:
Hotel (six nights, multiple occupancy), in-country transportation, breakfast daily, two group dinners, entry to all venues and tours listed on final itinerary.

Program Fees Do Not Include:
Airfare to/From Tel Aviv, Israel; transportation to/from airport; course tuition*; mandatory insurance; Study Abroad processing fee; meals and excursions not listed on final itinerary; personal spending.

In addition to the tour fees, you must register for RETL 592 or HRTM 590 for the Maymester 2020 Semester.

Deposit and Tour fees are non-refundable.

Tour cost is $2,995
A non-refundable deposit of $1,497 is due by December 1, 2019 and the remaining payment of $1,498 is due by January 15, 2020
