Pie Making 101 - November 4 - Chef Du Jour - McCutchen House

Our class will demystify the general pitfalls of making pies. We'll show you how to make an easy pie crust for fruit pies along with fancy top crusts and streusel toppings. Instead of using canned pie filling, we'll show you how to incorporate fresh apples and pears for fillings. Also, we'll demonstrate how to make cream filled pies (Coconut cream for example) which are also a hit. At the end, you'll take home all of the pies you made to share with your family and friends.

Price includes sales tax.

Please remember, all classes begin at 9 AM. There are many events in the city scheduled that might hinder normal traffic patterns, please plan accordingly for possible delays.
