Latinx Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA)

The Tufts Cummings Chapter of LVMA strives to empower and support Latinx veterinary professionals and future generations of Latinx veterinarians. Our goal is to foster a Latinx community of students, faculty, and other professionals within our campus and beyond. We aim to achieve this through the national organization’s pillars of empowerment: professional development, mentorship, outreach, and scholarship. Our chapter will work with the national organization and other student chapters to create a veterinary community that is representative of our society in order to make veterinary care more accessible to the Latinx community.
