Student Livestock Organization (SLO)

The Student Livestock Organization (SLO) aims to actively engage and educate students on working with a variety of livestock and production animals, including cattle, sheep, goats, swine, and more! Our events include several wetlabs on campus or surrounding farms where topics and activities include palpation, artificial inseminatinon, dehorning, necropsy, and more.  Lunch and dinner discussions with various professional organizations are held, including the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP) and American Association of Small Ruminant Practioners (AASRP).
