5th Annual National Conference on Police Social Work

The conference takes place from Wednesday, May 27, 2026 to Friday, May 29, 2026 at Southern CT State University in New Haven, CT. The Annual National Conference on Police Social Work offers the opportunity for national leaders from the social work and law enforcement fields to explore and share successful methods and best practices for social workers and police departments to work together. The conference seeks to bridge communities at the national and state level in the 21st century through education, training, research, professional development, and networking.
  
The theme of this year’s National Conference on Police Social Work is Innovation and Mental Health & Family Response. Join us for two days of workshops and networking with the SWLE team and colleagues, and experts in the field of social work and law enforcement.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Written notification of your conference registration cancellation must be sent to swle@southernct.edu.
 
Registrations canceled on or before May 1st, 2026, will receive a full refund (minus the $15 registration processing fee).  
 
Registrations canceled on or after May 1, 2026, will NOT receive a refund. Requested refunds due to extenuating circumstances or emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  
 
If the conference is canceled, registrants will receive a full (100%) refund.
