SMC Alumni

​This membership option is only available for SMC Alumni. Alumni must provide their graduation year. The membership fee includes registration and use of the facility & pool.

Please allow 24-48 hours during business days for processing and membership activation. Membership access begins on the date of payment; early renewals are available and applied appropriately.

Affiliate members without an SMC ID card must use the Campus Recreation App on a smartphone to check in to the facility, which requires disabling the tracking component.  No other options are available at this time

• Members must be 18 years or older
• Please visit the website for current hours of operation, closures, and limited-hour days. Facility hours are established based on the College's academic schedule and may vary during academic breaks, holidays, summer sessions, and other campus closures.
• Members must follow all policies and procedures in place at the Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center
• Memberships are not prorated, adjusted, or refunded for partial months, delayed activation processing, facility closures, holidays, limited operating hours, or unused time remaining on a membership term.
• Be prepared to present a government-issued ID and complete the required forms at your first visit. This includes signing the facility waiver, accessing the Campus Rec App, and taking a photo.
• Locks for lockers and towels are not provided.
• Room, Gym or Pool Reservations requested by affiliates are only permitted through our rental procedure, which includes insurance requirements and fees.
• Affiliate members are not eligible for Guest Passes. Guest passes are reserved for SMC Students, faculty, and staff only.
• Refunds, cancellations, or suspensions of paid memberships are subject to review and approval by Recreation Center management. Please see the front desk for contact information and additional details​

Facility & Pool Hours are available on our website.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. Renewing members may use their receipt to access the facility while their membership is being processed.

Visitor parking is $1.00 per hour, with a daily maximum of $5.00. Visitors can pay using their license plate at any of our pay stations or on their mobile devices by texting "PAY" to 77447 zone #SMC. Please refer to the Visitor Parking Map for regular visitor parking locations.
