Gage Broomall Memorial Scholarship

Gage Broomall Memorial Scholarship

Gage was a second-year student-athlete from Hallsville, Texas. Broomall collapsed during cross-country/track practice on Thursday, September 4th. Despite the immediate and heroic efforts of emergency personnel, he did not survive. Gage was a valued member of the Odessa College Wrangler family, and his loss is deeply felt by his teammates, coaches, classmates, and all who knew him. One of his many athletic accomplishments was being named an USTFCCA All-American at the NJCAA National Indoor Meet in the Distance Medley Relay.

To honor Gage's life and legacy, Odessa College and the Broomall family have established a scholarship in his name. Proceeds from the Gage Broomall Memorial 5K and 5K T-shirt sales will go towards this scholarship.  We thank you in advance for you support in helping future Odessa College Wranglers to have the same opportunities to succeed in the classroom and out of the classroom at Odessa College in Gage's memory.
