In Electronic Game Design, students create classic games by combining the innovative Makey Makey® device and programming with Scratch. Makey Makey® is a customizable circuitry tool that students transform into a controller for their games. They’ll learn about how circuits work with computers, coding, and how to design and build a fun game.
Build, code and problem solve with LEGO SPIKE Essential. Students explore STEM concepts through storytelling, teamwork, and creative challenges using familiar LEGO pieces.
In this after-school enrichment, students will learn how to perform a nose to tail exam, learn about the foods dogs can and can not eat, practice making doggie treats, how to suture lacerations dogs can get from accidents or surgery and learn the roles of different team members in a veterinary clinic. Students will receive their own plushie patient and white coats to take on the role of veterinarian.
Children will work on balance, coordination, muscle strength and endurance. Participants will work on developing self confidence through running. Children should be able to walk for 1 minutes then run for 1 minute for 45 minutes for this class. This class is led by Coach Scott.
This class provides space to experiment, tes ideas, adapt and succeed without rushing. There will be STEM/Innovation teamwork projects that build social confidence alongside technical skills. This class will also allow freedom to take coding and robotics in their own unique direction.
Design it, sew it, wear it! Students learn basic hand-sewing skills and fashion design concepts while creating stylish, wearable pieces for every season. The experience ends with a fabulous runway show for friends and family- and every outfit goes home with its designer.
