  • The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is made up of two parts – the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program.     This entry-level certification course is for individuals wishing to learn the fundamentals of proper breath hold diving (Freediving). For the purpose of increasing underwater awareness & enjoyment, students learn Freediving skills & techniques to depths in between 10m-16m / 30'-55’. The course also encompasses static and dynamic apnea as introductory or stand-alone disciplines. $250 for NSU students, faculty, staff & alumni. $350 for general public (must have NSU affiliation).
