Thursday Classes: August 27-October 22

Using a colorful, squishy tools, students construct and keep countless beautiful art projects, such as animals, plants, and whatever they can imagine to make!

This cooking, wellness and literacy program is based upon a children's book about a teacher that cooks with her class each day. Kids discover fun, healthy recipes inspired by the seasons-while learning teamwork, confidence and real life cooking skills.

Students become game designers by combining Artificial Intelligence with the creative power of Roblox studio. Students will design and build their own interactive games while learning how AI can make characters smarter, environments more responsive, and gameplay more engaging. This class emphasizes creativity, problem solving, and logical thinking while introducing students to real-world technology skills used in game development and AI. 

This afterschool sports program is non-contact, fast-paced, and designed to allow boys and girls to develop their lacrosse skills.  Emphasis, as always, will be on good sportsmanship and teamwork while teaching participants the fundamentals of lacrosse. 

Creative science sessions tailored to the unique interests and abilities of little scholars, creating a love and interest for science. Young scientists will explore chemistry, biology, and physics through fun, interactive experiments. 

Unleash your inner pastry artist! In this hands-on class, kids will learn the basics of cake decorating while having a blast. From frosting techniques to fun designs with sprinkles, edible glitter, and colorful piping, each child will create their own mini masterpiece to take home. Perfect for young bakers, this class encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and a love for baking. No prior experience needed—just a big imagination and a sweet tooth!

See the world through a new lens! Using high-quality cameras, students learn photography basics like competition, lighting, and visual storytelling. They will build their own photo portfolio and showcase their work in a final photo gallery exhibition for family and friends. 

Pottery offers a unique outlet for children to sculpt their ideas into one-of-a-kind creations, fostering self-expression and building confidence. This multisensory craft offers joy in experiencing the touch, smells, sounds, and sights of clay. Manipulating clay helps children understand that they have the ability to change something with their own hands and influence the outside world.

For any level runner. Coaches will help improve the students running with workouts that focus on proper form, breathing, increasing running time, increasing speed and proper pacing.This class is led by Coach Scott. 

In this science-based program, students will experiment and discover science right before their eyes. Whether mixing of chemical reactions, designing simple machines, or diving into robotics and earth science, each hands-on activity will spark curiosity and ignite creativity.

This dance class will incorporate Hip-Hop dance styles and high energy moves while also encouraging self expression and creativity. Music will get students moving, using their imagination and having fun!

Adventure meets medicine! Wilderness Medicine School puts kids in real white coats with real tools to learn splinting, bites and stings, water safety, navigation, survival first aid and more!
