Film Forward: Student Filmmaking Camp

Early Bird Price (before May 1): $1000
Regular Price (after May 1): $1200

ABOUT:

NSU University School is partnering with All American High School Film Festival's co-founder, Tom Oliva, to host a weeklong summer film camp for students who will be in Grades 8-12 during the 2026-2027 school year!

All American High School Film Festival is the largest High School film festival in the world, and now students can spend a week with Tom, creating a short film and developing the skills needed for competitions and festivals.

Students will learn story development with Tom, cinematography from the executive producer of Short Cuts, Jim Guarasci, and camera/editing techniques from the USN instructors.

This experience is open to all skill levels, but we especially recommend it for students who are interested in attending All American's NYC Film Invitational in October.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

OPTION 1: EARLY BIRD (all payments due before May 1, 2026)
Once your application is approved, you must pay the NON-REFUNDABLE  DEPOSIT of $500 within 10 days to reserve your spot. To qualify for early bird pricing, FINAL PAYMENT of $500 is due by May 1, 2026. Alternately, you may choose to make a single payment of $1,000 to reserve your spot and finalize registration. 

OPTION 2: REGULAR PRICE (all payments due before July 15, 2026) 
Once your application is approved, you must pay the NON-REFUNDABLE  DEPOSIT of $500 within 10 days to reserve your spot. Your final payment of $700 will be due by July 15, 2026. Alternately, you may choose to make a single payment of $1,200 to reserve your spot and finalize registration. 

** This is a commuter camp. Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation. Non-local student may attend the camp, if accompanied by a parent or guardian who chaperones them at a hotel.
