NSU Neuroscience Summer Training Program

The NSU College of Psychology, Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is excited to offer a 2-week discovery-based NSU Behavioral Neuroscience half-day training program high school students. We will host a luncheon for parents where students will present work from their research projects on July 18th. Students will participate in workshops with NSU faculty-experts with demonstrations. Who Can Attend? The NSU 2025 Neuroscience Program is intended for high-school students who will be entering their junior or senior year in fall, 2025. The number of participants will be kept small (maximum 16) due to limited lab space and to facilitate individualized attention and optimal use of equipment. Tuition and Fees The Neuroscience program fee is $400. This covers tuition, supervision, program materials & equipment, daily mid-morning snack, and presentation luncheon. How to Join Students who wish to attend must provide answers to questions that follow (e.g. student and parent/guardian contact information) and submit payment no later than April 30, 2025. Registration will occur on a “rolling admissions” basis until we reach maximum capacity (16 students). Because this program is limited to 16 student participants, it is imperative that, if accepted, you will complete the program by attending and participating in all scheduled program activities (except in the case of illness/emergency). By registering, you are committing to this; no refunds will be provided.
