• NOTE: There is an accompanying DAN DFAPro Instructor Pack. It contains everything you'll need to teach DFAPro. The DAN DFAPro Instructor Pack lists for $380 through DAN, your price for the Pack is $285. This is optional.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The intent of this Instructor Upgrade Workshop is to assist DAN Full Suite Instructor Trainers and Examiners that have been authorized to conduct the V2.1 to V3.0 Upgrade for those DAN Instructors that are in need of the Upgrade to continue to teach DAN courses. Some DAN Instructors may only need to complete the relevant e-learning modules while other will need to complete the e-learning modules and a workshop to review the various skills included in this guide.

INCLUDED IN THE COURSE

• Diving First Aid for Professional Divers Instructor online training
• DAN Pocket Mask
• Use of gloves, first aid supplies, manikins and AED trainer units

STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE

• Comfortable clothing for kneeling
• Laptop or printout of DAN Instructor Manual V3.0

PREREQUISITES

• Must be an existing DAN Instructor
• DAN Membership

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Due to the popularity of scuba courses, instructor schedules and issued materials the following policies are in place:

• 1. No refund of the scuba course fee will be possible for any reason after the first session of the class.
• 2. Scuba Fee refunds prior to the first session of the class will be based on the following refund schedule:
• i. Prior to Class Session #1 = Full Scuba Fee minus $25
• Refunds must be cleared with your instructor and final approval will come from the Scuba Department.
