Telehealth Basics Course

Course Dates: June 7, 2021 – July 24, 2021

Course Format: Canvas, an online learning management system, will be utilized for course content and communication.

Modules Offered:

Module 1: Wading into Telehealth
Module 2: Ethical and Cultural Considerations in Telehealth
Module 3: Telehealth Regulatory and Legal Issues
Module 4: Reimbursement and Coding
Module 5: Quality Metrics and Patient Satisfaction
Module 6: Introduction to Telepresence
Module 7: Final Project: Putting it all Together!

Participation: Each module will require an approximate commitment of 3 hours weekly. One hour for reading, viewing, and studying; one hour for interacting with other participants; and one hour to complete assignments.

Course Assessment: The Telehealth Basics course is Pass/Fail based on the participant achieving 80% on each module. Discussions and assignments can be submitted as many times as needed to achieve the 80% score. All course requirements must be submitted by the last day of the course to receive the Certificate of Completion and applicable CEUs.
