Managing Cognitive Decline in the Chronically Ill:
An Inter-Professional Approach

An afternoon seminar designed for attorneys, physicians, psychologists, and other health professionals who deal with chronically ill clients/patients. The seminar will include a case study for each of these professional groups. We will discuss how to recognize related issues and what professionals can do to offer assistance to their clients/patients, many of whom need help from multiple professionals.

Event Date: Friday, November 1st, 2013

Event Time: Check-in 12:30 PM. Seminar is 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM with reception to follow.

Event Location: The Lifelong Learning Institute at Nova Southeastern University, University Park Plaza, 3424 South University Drive, Davie, Florida 33328.

Event cost: $50.00 “Early Bird” pay by October 16, 2013.
Regular Registration: $75 pay by October 28, 2013.
NSU Faculty & NSU Students are free but must pre-register to reserve a seat.

CLE Credits (Law):
5.0 hours (general), including 1.0 hour (mental illness awareness) and 2.5 hours (Elder Law Certification).

Credits: Continuing education credits are pending for: Medicine (CME) and Mental Health (CE)

Cost includes continuing education credits and reception with food and drinks afterwards.

From I-595 take University Drive Exit and head south past SW 30th Street (a/k/a Abe Fischler Blvd.). Just past NSU campus, turn left into University Park Plaza (Pier I Imports & Pizza Loft) and drive to the far left-hand corner where it says “Nova Southeastern University.”
