A day in a Pediatric Practice – an overview of common childhood illnesses – What to expect and the unexpected!
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge and skill of the advanced practice nurse or healthcare provider whose practice includes the pediatric patient. The content will include a review of common pediatric illnesses and their treatment focusing primarily on skin (rings and rashes), otitis media, communicable and vaccine preventable illnesses.
During the lecture the instructor will use images and a case study format. Participants will be encouraged to describe and identify physical findings and consider a differential diagnosis.
