Each we semester we will present a series of professional development classes that feature our own Faculty and Alumni. Join us virtually for an Antibiotic Update presented by Dr. Rose Knapp, Department Chair and Director of the MSN program at MU.
Desired Learning Outcome – At the conclusion of the program, participants will self-report intent to apply the concepts learned when caring for patients who require antibiotic therapy.
This update will cover current treatment principles using standard clinical guidelines, drug selection, appropriate use of antibiotics and antibiotic resistance concentrating on use in primary and urgent care settings. The lecture will feature Interactive case studies.

Instructor: Dr. Rose Knapp, DNP, RN, APN-C, Associate Professor, Department Chair, MSN Program Director and practicing Acute Care APN specializing in Primary and Emergency Care.
